per, <br />May 19, 1986 <br />6.0 ORDINANCES AND RESOLUTIONS - No discussion <br />7.0 UNFINISHED BUSINESS <br />7.1 Contract - Forest Lake Youth Service Bureau <br />Attorney Johnson is reviewing this contract. <br />7.2 Rural/Urban Taxing District <br />The city received a letter from the county stating that the city has until <br />August 31st in which to notify them of the parcels to remain in the rural taxing <br />district. As of this time, Hugo has two taxing districts - rural and urban. <br />If, and when, the city decides to revise this structure, a public hearing will <br />need to be held. POTI'S LEFT THE MEETING AT 10:10 PM. <br />7.3 Birchwood Builders - Letter of Credit <br />Birchwood's letter of credit will expire June 6th, and it was the consensus of <br />the Council that it be renewed for another year. <br />8.0 NEW BUSINESS <br />8.1 Marlo Graber/Steve Markeson - Disc on drainage <br />Messrs. Grager and Markeson were present to discuss work they would like to do <br />to relieve a ponding problem at 121st Street, north of Bald Eagle. They alleged <br />that drainage was plugged when the metro sewer line went through, and would like <br />to either unplug or replaced about 600' of drain tile. Prior to any work, they <br />are to obtain a permit from the RCWD, and notify Howard Kuusisto of any specifics <br />regarding the drain tile. Graber and Markeson also stated they will incur all costs. <br />8.2 Report of Fire Chief - Ambularce Service <br />MO'T'ION: McAllister made motion, Peltier seconded, to set an additional regular <br />City Council meeting for June 12, 1986, at 7:00 PM, to discuss the <br />Fire Chief's report regarding ambulance service for the City of Hugo, <br />and any other appropriate city business. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />9.0 ATTORNEY AND ENGINEER <br />9.1 Fischer/Schuh - Mining permit <br />Mr. Schuh is interested in working out of the Hansen pit under the Fischer Mining <br />Permit until is able to obtain his own permit for the pit. The matter is on the <br />Planning Commission agenda for May 28th. Messrs. Richard Schuh, Gene Fischer, <br />and Elmer Hansen submitted a signed agreement and contract itemizing conditions <br />under which Schuh would operate the pit. It was the opinion of the Council that <br />hotmix plants are allowed under Chapter 170, Mining Permit. <br />MOTION: Peltier made motion, Schwab seconded, to extend the meeating passed <br />11:00 PM. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />
