/00 September 2, 1986 AMBULANCE SERVICE MOTION: McAllister made motion, Peltier seconded, that the City Clerk be directed to contact the City Administrator for White Bear Lake requesting a con- tract renewal for the ambulance service in the City of Hugo. All aye. Motion Carried. MOTION: McAllister made motion, Peltier seconded, to adopt RESOLUTION 1986-13, A RESOLUTION REQUESTING THAT THE WASHINGTON COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFICE RECOGNIZE THE CONTRACT BE'T'WEEN THE CITY OF HUGO AND THE CITY OF WHITE BEAR LAKE FOR AMBULANE SERVICE. ALL 911 CALLS ARE REQUESTED TO BE DISPATCHED THROUGH WHITE BEAR LAKE AMBULANCE SERVICE. All aye. Motion Carried. GRASS FIRE RIG MOTION: McAllister made motion, Peltier seconded, that the Fire Chief be dis- patched, along with necessary help, to the City of Audubon, Minnesota, to inspect the used grassfire rig, and if it meets our expectations mechanically, that he be authorized to bring a draft, in the amount of $8,000.00, to the City Clerk of Audubon. MOTION: McAllister made motion, Peltier seconded, to amend the previous motion to include that the Chief and assistant shall be reimbursed for meals and the City Clerk is to issue a $100.00 cash advance to take care of gas for both vehicles. AMENDMENT: All aye. Motion Carried. ORIGINAL MOTION: All aye. Motion Carried. Let the record show that the balance in the Fire Equipment Account be transferred to the General Fund thereby closing it out. MO`T'ION: McAllister made motion, Peltier seconded, authorizing the Fire Chief to purchase 200' of 12" hose and 200' of 2i" hose in the amount of $780.00. All aye. Motion Carried. MOTION: Schwab made motion, Peltier seconded, authorizing the Fire Chief to purchase a water monitor in the amount of $850.00. All aye. Motion Carried. MOTION: McAllister made motion, Peltier seconded, authorizing the Fire Chief to purchase 10 gallons of foam in the amount of $190.00. All aye. Motion Carried. MOTION: Schwab made motion, Peltier seconded, that the Fire Department be authorized to send two people to the State Fire Convention, in an amount not to exceed $400.00. All aye. Motion Carried.
