April 15, 1985 <br />Walter Scheerer <br />MOTION: Hauer made motion, Peltier seconded, to approve the Site Plan for <br />Walter Scheerer to construct an earth shelter home subject to review <br />of the drainage plan by the City Engineer. Mr. Scheerer to place <br />a fence or shrubbery in such a way as to obstruct access to the <br />elevated roof. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />5.5 Gary Olson - Farm Site Plan <br />MOTION: Potts made motion, Peltier seconded, to approve the Farm Site Plan for <br />Gary Olson to construct a 106 x 180 pole barn subject to Mr. Olson's <br />storing all manure so as not to drain into the creek. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />5.6 Margaret Doerrer - Site Plan Approval <br />MOTION: Hauer made motion, Peltier seconded, to approve the Site Plan for Mar- <br />garet Doerrer for the construction of a 1620 sq ft pole barn for her <br />personal use only. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />5.7 Dave Mastd - Special Use Permit <br />Mr. Mastel had wanted to install an ATV track on property belonging to the Caruth <br />family. The Planning Connnission had held a public hearing with much opposition <br />from the adjoining property owners. The PC recommended denial, at which time Mr. <br />Mastel stated that he would not be going to the Council with his application. <br />35 <br />MOTION: McAllister made motion, Peltier seconded, that the clerk write Mr. Mastel <br />stating that it is the City Council's understanding that he has withdrawn <br />his application to operate an ATV park. The $500.00 deposit as well as <br />the $65.00 application fee will be refunded in its entirety. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />5.8 Greg Cardinal - Land Division <br />MOTION: Potts made motion, Peltier seconded, to approve the Land Division for <br />Greg Cardinal to divide 40 acres into two 20 acre parcels. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />UNFINISHED BUSINESS <br />The Council further discussed the Oneka Lake matter with the City Attorney. Mr. <br />Johnson stated that the City has four options: <br />1. Do nothing. <br />2. Negotiate for some form of settlement, either with Alex Zaluckyj or some- <br />body else. <br />
