October 7, 1985 <br />Ricci - cont. <br />WA <br />MOTION: Hauer made motion, Peltier seconded, to approve the Site Plan for Robert <br />Ricci for the construction of an 18 x 50 addition to Ricci's Saloon (east <br />side of building). <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />5.8 Linda Stedt - Temporary Mobile Home Permit <br />Mr. & Mrs. Stedt would like a tempaary mobile home permit so they can reside in a <br />mobile home during the construction of their residence. They must make application <br />for a building permit in conjunction with the mobile home permit or a letter of <br />credit would be required to guarantee construction. <br />MOTION: Schwab made motion, Peltier seconded, to approve a temporary Mobile Home <br />Permit for Mr. & Mrs. Stedt to reside in during the construction of <br />their permanent residence. This permit to be effective until 11/1/86. <br />Approval contingent on the Stedts' paying the building permit fee. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />5.9 Thomas Frampton - Special Use Permit <br />Mr. Frampton is requesting permission to raise non-domestic animals in the RRII zone. <br />There was no representative at tonight's meeting on behalf of Mr. Frampton. <br />MOTION: McAllister made motion, Peltier seconded, that the Thomas Frampton matter <br />be tabled until the meeting of 10/21/85, at 7:30 PM. Mr. Frampton to be <br />sent a certified letter stating the date and time for consideration of <br />his SUP. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />6.0 REPORTS OF OFFICERS & COMMITTEES <br />6.1 Ordinance Committee - continuing meetings are being held. <br />6.2 Planning Commission <br />George Atkinson and Mayor McAllister discussed legislation regarding the "Open <br />Meeting Law". There is violation of this law where there is a majority of the <br />members present, along with discussion of city business. It was the opinion of <br />Mayor McAllister that on-site inspections may be made by the Planning Commission <br />members, but that the discussion of the matter take place at City Hall. <br />MOTION: Schwab made motion, Peltier seconded, that Robert Olson, 12980 Ingersoll <br />Avenue, be appointed to fill the current vacancy on the Hugo Planning <br />Commission. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />6.3 Building Inspector <br />Discussion on city policy regarding private garages. It is city policy that a 720 <br />sq ft garage is allowed for any residence without site plan approval. Any addi- <br />tional accessory storage would reguire site plan approval. <br />
