114 <br />November 4, 1985 <br />The chief stated that a member of the FD has not made any obligations and has <br />made no attempt to explain his lack of attendance. The Council advised that he <br />take this matter to the Fire Review Committee and make a recommendation to the <br />Council of their findings. <br />5.5 Steve Arhip - Complaint <br />TheJrWeived a complaint regarding the Arhip residence at 5261 165th Street North. <br />Tara Arhip was present at the meeting and stated that she had more than two unli- <br />censed vehicles on her property. She would like to continue using her property <br />for storage of these vehicles, and was told she will need a Special Use Permit to <br />operate an auto dismantling yard on her property. She stated that she will go to <br />City Hall during business hours to make the appropriate application. <br />TWIN PINE TRAILER PARK <br />The city received an offer from Karla Wahl, representing the Twin Pine Trailer Park, <br />stating that her client would settle out-of-court if the City of Hugo would pay <br />$25,000 for damages, and they would install three fire hydrants. Regardless of <br />what decision is made, there would be no effect on personal lawsuits. <br />MOTION: Schwab made motion, Peltier seconded, that the City of Hugo reject the <br />offer set forth by the Twin Pine Trailer Park. <br />MOTION: McAllister made motion, Potts seconded, to amend the previous motion that <br />the City Attorney be informed that the City of Hugo will not settle the <br />matter out-of-court for any sum less than $9,247.76, which is the amount <br />of taxpayers' money already expended by the city. <br />AMENDMENT <br />VOTING FOR: Potts, Schwab, McAllister <br />VOTING AGAINST: Hauer, Peltier <br />Motion Carried. <br />ORIGINAL MOTION <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />5.6 Eugene Schulz - Mobile Home Permit <br />MOTION: Schwab made motion, Peltier seconded, to renew the mobile home permit <br />for Mr. Schulz for 90 days. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />5.7 James Leroux - Mobile Home Permit <br />MOTION: Potts made motion, Peltier seconded, to renew the mobile home permit for <br />James Leroux for 90 days. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />
