Motion Carried. <br /> 5.2 Glen Bjornson - Special Use Permit <br /> Mr. Bjornson was unable to attend tonight's meeting as previously scheduled. <br /> MOTION: McAllister made motion, Peltier seconded, that set a special meeting for <br /> May 21, 1984, at 6:00 PM, to discuss Mr. Bjornson's need for a Special <br /> Use Permit. <br /> All aye. Motion Carried. <br /> 5.3 Arnold Palme - Subdivision <br /> Mr. Palme is proposing the subdivision of approximately 80 acres into 13 - 5 acre <br /> lots. A new plan was submitted with the incorporation of the suggested changes <br /> from the Planning Commission. Kuusisto reminded the representing engineer that <br /> changes should be made on the preliminary plat prior to the hardshell. A develop- <br /> ment agreement will be required, and will address financial guarantees, and any <br /> variances that may be required. <br /> MOTION: McAllister made motion, Peltier seconded, to approve the preliminary plan <br /> for Arnold Palme to subdivide 80 acres into 13 - 5 acre lots, subject to <br /> the following conditions: <br /> 1. Developer obtain written approval from the Rice Creek Watershed <br /> District, and a satisfactory storm water management plan be developed. <br /> 2. A development agreement, satisfactory to the city, be executed by <br /> the developer and approved by the city. <br /> All aye. Motion Carried. <br /> 5.4 Jimmy DeMars - Special Use Permit <br /> Mr. DeMars would like to construct a 40 x 60 pole building on his property prior <br /> to the construction of his residence. The property is located at Jeffrey and 170th. <br /> MOTION: Peltier made motion, McAllister seconded, to approve the Special Use Permit <br /> for Jimmy DeMars for the construction of a 40 x 60 pole builidng prior to <br /> his residence, subject to the following conditions: <br /> 1. Submission of a $1,500.00 Letter of Credit to guarantee the construction <br /> of the principal building within one year of this date, and compli- <br /> ance with Site Plan as approved as well as setbacks. <br />
