46 June 4, 1984 <br /> 5.3 Roland Stricklin - Land Division <br /> Mr. Stricklin, owner of 40 acres lying along 170th Street, zoned Conservancy, <br /> is proposing division of the property into two 20 acre lots. Proof of ownership, <br /> as well as a Certificate of Survey, was submitted. <br /> MOTION: Vail made motion, McAllister seconded, to approve the Land Division for <br /> Roland Stricklin, 8980 170th Street, to divide 40 acres into two 20 acre <br /> parcels. <br /> All aye. Motion Carried. <br /> 5.6 John Kostuch - Rezoning <br /> This matter will be tabled until Mr. Kostuch requests to be placed on the agenda. <br /> 5.7 Eugene Fischer - Mining Permit <br /> MOTION: McAllister made motion, Peltier seconded, to renew the Mining Permit for <br /> Eugene Fischer for a one year period. <br /> All aye. Motion Carried. <br /> 5.8 Cal-Inland - Site Plan Approval <br /> Cal-Inland is proposing the construction of a 30 x 30 office addition to their <br /> present building. The addition will go up rather than out. They are working with <br /> Rice Creek to comply with their permit as originally issued. Cal-Inland's • <br /> representative stated that they are not anticipating any new employees at this time. <br /> The additional space will be used more for storage than anything else. Mayor <br /> McAllister stated the the business was alot larger than originally anticipated. <br /> MOTION: Vail made motion, Peltier seconded, to approve the Site Plan for Cal-Inland, <br /> for the construction of a 30 x 30 addition to their present building for <br /> office space. Approval subject to approval from Rice Creek. <br /> All aye. Motion Carried. <br /> 5.5 Lawrence Hazel - Rezoning <br /> Mr. Hazel, 7426 125th Street, is proposing the rezoning of 5.77 acres from AG and <br /> RR2 to the SFE district in order to sell a lot. There were two lots of record as <br /> of 1972, but were erroneously combined when the estate of John Hazel was settled. <br /> MOTION: Schwab made motion, Vail seconded, to adopt ORDINANCE 1984-204, AN ORDI- <br /> NANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 320 OF THE HUGO CITY CODE ENTITLED "ZONING" BY <br /> AMENDING THE ZONING DISTRICT CLASSIFICATION OF DESCRIBED REAL Prirrxri. <br /> All aye. Motion Carried <br /> Let the record show that this type of zoning is not desirable for the City of Hugo, <br /> and feel that the Planning Commission and Council took into account the extenuating <br /> circumstances, and in fact, recognize that these two lots were lots of record prior <br /> to 1972. <br />
