83 <br /> September 21, 1983 <br /> NOTION: McAllister made motion, Peltier seconded, that the matter of the <br /> Richard Granger rezoning of 50 acres be tabled until December 5, 1983, <br /> at 6:00 PM, at which time a special meeting will be held to consider <br /> the matter. <br /> All aye. Motion Carried. <br /> RICHARD GRANGER - Rezoning <br /> Mr. Granger is proposing the rezoning of 8,000 sq ft at 147th and Highway 61 <br /> from CB to SFU for the purpose of construction of a single family dwelling. <br /> Attorney Johnson stated that if the lot were rezoned, Mr. Granger could not <br /> build on it. The lot does not meet the minimum square footage required for <br /> the SFU zone. Mr. Granger stated that he did not want to leavy this meeting <br /> without knowing what the lot could be used for. Mr. Granger was informed that <br /> the lot size was acceptable for CB use, or if he could acquire an additional <br /> 2,400 square feet of land, the lot could then be rezoned. Mayor McAllister stated <br /> that Mr. Granger's application for rezoning should not have been accepted by <br /> the city. <br /> MOTION: McAllister made motion, Peltier seconded, that Mr. Granger be allowed <br /> to withdraw his application for rezoning (1983-46-RZ) and that the <br /> application fee be refunded in its entirety. <br /> All aye. Motion Carried. <br /> MISCELLANEOUS (Printing) <br /> MOTION: McAllister made motion, Peltier seconded, that the Clerk be directed to <br /> have ten (10) copies of the Comprehensive Plan printed and charge the <br /> people for actual cost of printing only. <br /> All aye. Motion Carried. <br /> MOTION: McAllister made motion, Peltier seconded, that the Clerk be directed to <br /> have eight (8) copies of the city's Code Book printed, and the charge <br /> to the people will be for actual costs only. <br /> All aye. Motion Carried. <br /> GERALD NOVY - SPECIAL USE PERMIT <br /> Mr. Novy, 8060 132nd Street, would like to construct a 40 x 90 pole barn for his <br /> personal use. He owns 10 acres in the RRII zone, which allows for 1800 sq ft of <br /> accessory storage. Mr. Potts had made an on-site inspection of the property, and <br /> felt the building's location would be acceptable to the city. <br /> NOTION: Schwab made motion, Vail seconded, to approve the Special Use Permit for <br /> GerallNovy to construct a 40 x 90 pole building for his personal storage. <br /> All aye. Motion Carried. <br /> MARLOWE LINDAU - MINOR SUBDIVISION <br /> Mr. Lindau is proposing thesale of a lot lying along County Road 8A.
