November 7, 1983 97 <br /> James Leroux - Renew of Mobile Home Permit <br /> MOTION: Peltier made motion, Vail seconded, to renew the Mobile Home Permit for <br /> James Leroux, 4360 165th Street, under Chapter 40, Subdivision D, Article III, <br /> for a period of 90 days. <br /> All aye. Motion Carried. <br /> 5.10 David Schumann - Renew of Mobile Home Permit <br /> MOTION: Peltier made motion, Vail seconded, to renew the Mobile Home Permit for <br /> David Schumann, 7630 137th Street, under Chapter 40, Article III, Sub- <br /> division B, for a period of 90 days. <br /> All aye. Motion Carried. <br /> 6.0 REPORTS OF OFFICERS & COMMTrrtLS <br /> 6.1 Ordinance Committee - No discussion <br /> 6.2 Planning Commission - No discussion <br /> 6.3 Water Superintendent - No discussion <br /> 6.5 Fire Chief <br /> Ron Istvanovich, Fire Chief, was present to request authorization to make certain <br /> purchases - 17 helmets for $969.00, 11/2" nozzle for $275.50, and 10 gallons of foam <br /> for $170.00. <br /> MOTION: Vail made motion, Schwab seconded, to authorize the Fire Chief to make <br /> purchases in an amount not to exceed $1500.00 prior to January 1, 1984. <br /> All aye. Motion Carried. <br /> 6.4 Building Inspector <br /> Mr. Crever was present and made comments relative to the Ricci multi-family building. <br /> Mr. Ricci is to stay 30' from the front yard setback - all 30' to remain clear. <br /> McAllister stated that he will contract Mr. Ricci regarding Crever's comments. Crever <br /> also discussed the fact that Robert McCullough has constructed a building without <br /> a Building Permit from the city or the Rice Creek Watershed District. <br /> MOTION: McAllister made motion, Peltier seconded, that the City Clerk be directed <br /> to send a letter to Robert McCullough asking him to appear at the Council <br /> meeting of November 21, along with the Building Inspector, to discuss a copy <br /> of a letter dated September 2, 1983, stating that he is in violation of the <br /> rules of the Rice Creek Watershed District by not obtaining a permit from them. <br /> All aye. Motion Carried. <br /> Tom Crever will contact Mr. McCullough prior to the meeting regarding this matter. <br /> 5.5 James Flannery - Amended Special Use Permit <br /> Mr. Flannery, attorney for Wilbur Harris Investment, Inc. , was present to discuss re- <br /> quirements for the reconstruction of Schmidty's. The SUP was granted by the Council <br /> at their meeting 4/18/83 with certain conditions attached to the permit. There was <br /> no response to the city's letter of 4/21/83 requesting Mr. Harris' signature on the SUP. <br />
