JANUARY 29 1973 <br /> Irene Leroux reported for the Planning Commission that Richard Hill, the party <br /> who wanted a Special Use Permit to raise 4-10 dogs on his propertyt was at <br /> their last meeting, He was told to submit a sketch plan for his buildings to <br /> Bill Schwab for the next Planning meeting and then a public hearing <br /> could be scheduled. The Planning Commission is also working on a Zoning Ordinance. <br /> Attorney Johnson reported that nothing has been heard from Warren Vining concerning <br /> his delinquent $80.00 bill for mobile home permit renewal. Moiiv n made and <br /> seconded to have Attorney Johnson send Warren Vining a bill for $80.00 for Delin— <br /> quent 1971-1972 mobile home permit fees. Motion carried. <br /> Motion made and seconded to have clerk send letter to Len Noack informing him <br /> to bring his site plans in for his Special Use Permit. Motion carried. <br /> Street superintendent Jerry Dube reported there's a vats parked on Ingersoll Avenue <br /> North by Sunset Laket causing him trouble when plowing or grading. Chief Gunderson <br /> was told to contact the owner. Dube also presented the Council with an article <br /> he would like published in the local newspaperst concerning people pushing snow <br /> out onto public property. He reported that street and safety signs had been in— <br /> stalled in the Village* and some had already been defacedt which is a misdemeanor. <br /> Howard Kuusisto reported the staus of mining permits had not changed since his <br /> report of December 18. <br /> Mrs: Bayless appeared before Council concerning the two 2j acre paroles of property <br /> she had sold. Percolation tests on the property had failed at firsts but more <br /> tests were taken and the Building Inspector should receive results shortly. Mrs. <br /> Bayless is having a preliminary plat drawn up for subdivision of the remainder of the <br /> 80 acre parcel according to ordinance. <br /> Employees insurance was discussed and it was the general opinion of the Council <br /> that other insurance company plans should be checked into before taking any action <br /> with the Group Health Plan. Jerry Dube will check into other plans for comparison <br /> and report back to Council. <br /> Recess was called at 9:40 P.M. <br /> Meeting called back to order at 10:05 P.M. <br /> Mayor Carlson submitted the name of Lax y Ehret for appointment to the Planning <br /> Commission. Motion made and seconded to appoint Larry Ehret to replace Don <br /> Lease on the Planning Commission for a term of three years. Motion carried. <br /> Deputy clerk to inform Mr. Ehret of his appointment. <br /> Motion made and seconded to appoint Dan Spitzer to a three year term on the <br /> Planning Commission. Motion carried. <br /> Motion made and seconded to elect Marvin LaValle as Acting Mayor for 1973. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> Motion made and seconded to designate First State Bank of Hugo as the Offficail <br /> Deposito2T. for the Village. Motion carried. <br /> Motion made and seconded to amend the previous motion to include US Treasury Notes <br /> necessary for collateral covering all Village monies. Motion carried. <br /> Motion made and seconded to appoint Police Chief Gunderson as Official Process <br /> Server for the Village of Hugo. Motion carried. <br />
