Attorney Johnson stated this should go before the ordinance <br /> committee if a change in procedure is to be made. <br /> Pam Bjorum reported an ordinance committee meeting will be held on Septmenber 13th. <br /> Don Lease reported that the utilities committee had made revisions in the water ordinance <br /> and it will go to the ordinance committee for review. He also stated the utilities committee <br /> will probably not meet again until bids come in for the sewer. <br /> Larry Furlong and Gerald Schmidt appeared with their final plat for Royalhaven Estates 2nd <br /> for council approval. Attorney Johnson stated conditions have been or will be met shortly, <br /> and he had drawn up a contract for same. Motion made by Carlson, seconded by LaValle to <br /> approve Royalhaven Estates 2nd Final Plat subject to conditions of Acceptance of Plat for <br /> Royalhaven Estates 2nd, Village of Hugo, Minn. Motion carried. Plat will be signed when <br /> all conditions are met. <br /> Mr. Richard Nelson appeared next on behalf of Mary Miron concerning a minor subdivision. <br /> Motion made by Carlson, seconded by Leroux to approve Minor Subdivision of Mazy Miron <br /> subject to conditions recommended by the planning commission. Motion carried. <br /> Regarding the Bald Eagle Industrial Park, Attorney Johnson had prepared a report on the <br /> matter stating what should be required of Grace Development in conjunction with consider- <br /> ation of special use permit applications, which was read aloud by Mayor Carlson, Vern <br /> Peloquin stated he felt he was not as involved with his industrial park as was Grace <br /> Development, and he wanted to know where he stood as far as zoning was concerned. It was <br /> stated that Vern's park still comes under special use permit applications. Mayor Carlson <br /> suggested Vern speak with Howard Kuusisto on the matter. Attorney Johnson said in most <br /> areas of this type it is not "hard platted". <br /> Recess called at 9:10 PM. Called back to order at 9:40 PM, <br /> Reynold Arcand appeared regarding subdivision approval for "Arcand's Estates". Motion made <br /> by Carlson, and seconded that Reynold Arcand subdivision be approved subject to conditions <br /> set by the planning commission. Motion carried. It was mentioned by attorney Johnson that <br /> Mt. Arcand should obtain a statement from the County Registar of Deeds regarding up to <br /> date ownership of the property involved. <br /> Ed Maas appeared regarding his obtaining a mobile home permit for a short time while he <br /> finishes building his home in the village. Mayor Carlson stated this would be against the <br /> Washington County Zoning adopted by the "old village", and Mr. Maas's request was denied. <br /> Clyde Rehbein appeared again this week concerning his obtaining $400.00 reimbursement from <br /> the village for additional drain field expense. He had sent the clerk's office a letter <br /> and a copy of the sewage disposal permit concerning the matter. Mayor Caxlson suggested <br /> Rehbein provide evidence of his payment. <br /> A Mr, Larry Weber appeared on behalf of John. Frucci concerning putting up a building and <br /> catering service to the north of the McCullough property. Mr. Weber was told that McCullough <br /> would have to go through another minor subdivision, and the Fruccis would have to obtain <br /> a special use permit. <br /> Fire Chief Ken Granger questioned whether the County was still in the process of preparing <br /> a new village map. He stated quite a few new homes were not posting their house numbers, <br /> which presents a problem for the firemen. Granger is to check the status of the map. <br /> Granger also requested approximately $150.00 to keep up equipment for the fire department. <br /> Motion made by Carlson and seconded that the fire chief be authorized to spend up to <br /> 1150.00 for gloves, choppers, and helmet liners. Motion carried. <br /> Engineer Kuusisto had prepared a written report which was given to- the council members while <br /> he commented on certain items. <br />
