AUGUST 4, 1975 �; 9 <br /> v <br /> 6.6 FIRE CHIEF <br /> No Report. <br /> 6.7 POLICE CHIEF <br /> 6.7.1 LILLY'S RESIGNATION <br /> MOTION: Motion made by Lease, seconded by Schletty, <br /> that we accept Lilly's resignation from the <br /> Police Department effective August 9, 1975. <br /> VOTING FOR: Lease, Leroux, Smith and Schletty <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> If Mr. Lilly withdraws his resignation, the Council <br /> said Mr. Lilly should be reinstated. <br /> 6.8 ATTORNEY <br /> Attorney Johnson submitted his monthly report - File No. 1500 <br /> Tom Crever asked about the Tauer apartment case. It was <br /> stated that the complaint has been drawn up and is in the <br /> hands of the Police Department. Burkard was instructed to <br /> ask Barth what action the Police Department has taken and <br /> report at next Council Meeting. <br /> 6.9 ENGINEER <br /> Engineer Kuusisto submitted report. <br /> 6.10 CLERK <br /> 6.10.1 - LOUISE BRENIER - DEPUTY TREASURER <br /> MOTION: Leroux moved, Smith seconded, to appoint <br /> Louise Brenier, Deputy Treasurer and the <br /> appropriate bonds be obtained. <br /> VOTING FOR: Smith, Schletty, Lease and Leroux <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> 6.10.2- Burkard discussed changes to Engineering fees for <br /> the Road Budget. <br /> 6.10.3 - MUGGS - Mr. Burkard read letter submitted by Mr. <br /> Muggs requesting the $10,000 bond be reduced and <br /> the $1 ,000 in escrow. The $10,000 bond is to <br /> protect the City from future damage and Kuusisto <br /> stated the Engineers are aware of this. <br /> MOTION: Motion made by Smith, seconded by Schletty, <br /> that we reply to Mr. 11aggs that the first <br /> letter we sent is the one we want to hold <br /> him too and the $10,000 bond stands. <br />
