Where installed , a Dosing Device shall comply <br /> with the following requir-ements: <br /> a. The Dosing Chamber shall be watertight and <br /> constructed of sound and durable materials not <br /> subject to excessive corrosion or decay. <br /> b. The Dosing Chamber shall have one or more <br /> manholes, twenty ( 0) inches in least dimension , <br /> located directly above the Dosing Device. The <br /> manhole shall extend through the chamber cover to <br /> finished grade and shall be provided with a cover <br /> secured to prevent unauthorized access. <br /> c . The size of the effluent dose shall be determined <br /> by the Soil Treatment System design but in no case <br /> shall the chamber _be sized to provide a dose of <br /> less than seventy-five (75) gallons. <br /> d .. Dosing Devices for gravity distribution : <br /> ( 1 ) A pump or siphon shall be utilized to deliver <br /> the dose to the Soil Treatment unit for <br /> gravity distribution over the soil treatment <br /> area. <br /> (2) For dwellings, the Dosing Device shall <br /> discharge a minimum of six hundred (600) <br /> gallons per hour but not more than <br /> twenty-seven hundred (2,700) gal ions per hour. <br /> (3) For other establishments, the Dosing Device <br /> shall discharge at a rate at least ten ( 10) <br /> percent greater than the water supply flow <br /> rate but no faster than the rate at which <br /> effluent will flow out of the distribution <br /> box . <br /> 20 <br />
