JUNE 7, 1976 ' <br /> VOTING FOR: Lease, LaValle, Leroux, Schletty and Smith <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> 6.7 ATTORNEY <br /> Re: Sunset Lake: Lease said three firms, Soil Test Engineering, <br /> Twin City Testing and Geo-Technical, have been requested to present <br /> proposal based on at least fifteen investigations. West side of Lake <br /> is eliminated - MacLennon, Rice Creek engineer is satisfied they <br /> comply - main concern is east side of lake plus Day and Friel pro- <br /> perties. Clerk to notify Rice Creek, City would like to be on their <br /> June 23rd agenda regarding regulations on Sunset Lake. Schletty to <br /> contact Mastrodi to see if he has land available, if necessary, to <br /> run sewage from three or four homes; also to see if it is feasible <br /> to do this - find out how much road frontage he has. Attorney in- <br /> structed to draw up resolution regarding the drainage problem - <br /> violation of nuisance ordinance. <br /> Shepherd of Fields: No reconciliation on legal description at this <br /> time. Survey unacceptable - doesn't correspond with recorded surveys. <br /> MOTION: Lease made motion, seconded by LaValle, to notify Vern <br /> Peloquin and Shepherd of Fields Lutheran_.Church that Certificate of <br /> survey by James Kurth is unacceptable as it is unclear as to ease- <br /> ments we already own. <br /> VOTING FOR: Lease, LaValle, Leroux, Schletty and Smith. <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> RECESS - 10:20 P.M. - RECONVENE - 10:31 P.M. <br /> MOTION: Lease made motion, seconded by Smith to amend the approval <br /> of the general claims to include $6,616.25 to LaValle <br /> Excavating for additional road fees on Europa, Elmcrest <br /> and Everton Avenues. <br /> VOTING FOR: Lease, Leroux, Schletty and Smith <br /> ABSTAINING: LaValle <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> 6.8 ENGINEER <br /> Europa and Elmcrest need Class 5 only. Lease feels Hugo should be <br /> responsible for repairing stretch of Elmcrest in disrepair. LaValle <br /> will talk to Lino Lakes regarding the matter. Engineer instructed <br /> to use Schafer's prices in computing prices for blacktopping Hyde <br /> Avenue. Storm Sewer pro,iect almost completed, he said. <br /> MOTION: Leroux made motion, seconded by Smith, to extend meeting <br /> beyond 11 :00 P.M. <br /> VOTING FOR: Lease, LaValle, Leroux, Schletty and Smith <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> 6.9 CLERK <br /> 6.9.1 NO PARKING ON HWY 61 <br /> MOTION: Lease made motion, seconded by LaValle, to inform the <br /> Minnesota Highway Department that the City of Hugo recomm- <br /> ends no on-street parking along Hwy. 61 in the City of <br /> Hugo from the curb just south of the Catholic Church going <br /> north to 148th Street, and to accept their proposals. <br /> VOTING FOR: Lease, LaValle, Leroux, Schletty and Smith. <br /> MOTION CARRIED.. <br /> 6.9.2 MOTION: LaValle made motion, seconded by Leroux, to place <br /> Revenue Sharing Funds in the amount of 6,483.00 <br /> in the Public Safety Operating Maintenance Fund. <br /> VOTING FOR: Lease, LaValle, Leroux, Schletty and Smith. <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br />
