Engineer's office will check the problem over with
Vern Peloquin to expedite settlement of the problem. Lester Winter
said church has no plans for a sprinler system - Kuusisto said it
will not be necessary then, to run a large main into the property -
a 1z" saddle will be used. Winter also stated there would be no
on-street parking - Kuusisto said existing street is 24' wide - if
no on-street parking is allowed it would not be necessary to widen
the street in the church area. 24' mat with raised lip would be
sufficient - church plans two driveways on the south end of property.
Winter requested four inch sewer service. LaValle said City would
insist on six inch sewer cast iron service at the street. Winter
inquired about 12" water meter. Clerk instructed to contact Water
Superintendent regarding obtaining 1i" meter. LaValle said if the
road problem is cleared up by the first meeting of August, bids
could be let by August 23rd with the work to be done by September
15th. Peloquin said he felt that the road should be graded and
gravelled this year but finished next year - LaValle agreed; road
right of way to be fifty feet wide, with 24' mat, raised lip and
seven inches of gravel. Design to be approved by City Engineer.
