668 Engineer <br /> Mr. Kuusisto presented a preliminary draft on the Bald Eagle sewer study. <br /> The hearing regarding Horseshoe Lake has been set for September 7, 1977 at 7:30 PM. <br /> Mr. Johnson stated that the city will conduct the hearing, and Rice Creek will have <br /> certain people present for their testimony. Mr. Johnson will be in contact with their <br /> attorney. The city has received a letter from Richard Busse's attorney regarding the <br /> proposed extension of Ingersoll Avenue through the Busse's property. The letter stated <br /> that Busse is willing to cooperate with the city provided an agreement can be reached <br /> with respect to approval of a proposed subdivision of the Busse property into building <br /> sites containing 3/4 to 1 acre. The land presently is zoned RRII (5acres). Howard <br /> Schletty has spoken to Busse and stated that he advised Mr. Busse to come before the <br /> Council and state exactly what he wants. Mr. Johnson was directed to respond to the <br /> letter from Busse's attorney. <br /> MOTION: LaValle made motion, seconded by Irsfeld, to approve Northwestern Bell's <br /> Project #5411, for underground installation of telephone cable on 126th <br /> Street and Europa Avenue. <br /> VOTING FOR: LaValle, Spitzer, Schletty, Irsfeld, and Vail <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> MOTION: LaValle made motion, seconded by Vail, to approve Northwestern Bell <br /> Project #49375, for underground installation of telephone cable on <br /> Oneka Lake Blvd. <br /> VOTING FOR: LaValle, Spitzer, Schletty, Irsfeld, and Vail <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> 6.9 Clerk <br /> No discussion. <br /> Recessed 9:35 PM Reconvened 9:50 PM <br /> Howard Kuusisto will be meeting with Planning Commission member, Mike Gillen, on <br /> Wednesday, August 3, 1977, to try and resolve the problem on Lots 1,2, and 3 for <br /> Grace Development's subdivision. There are varying opinions as to whether Lot 1 <br /> could in fact maintain a private septic system. More information is needed for Lots <br /> 2 and 3. Mr. Kuusisto has been requested to attend the Planning Commission meeting <br /> of August 10th. <br /> 6.10 Road Committee <br /> Mr. Schletty recommended to the City Council that the city make a counter proposal <br /> to Barton Contracting to take the gravel pile and pay for it in 1978, 1979, and 1980 <br /> and instead of removing the pile in the Fall of 1979, remove it in the Fall of 1980. <br /> MOTION: Spitzer made motion, seconded by Irsfeld, that the City Council <br /> direct Howard Schletty to refer his alternate proposal to Barton <br /> Contracting. <br />
