He sated Vat all the vehicles were licensed for over the road, and no units were skirted. Spitzer stated that he would recommend that Mr. Shelffo apply for a Special Use Permit with the city, then we would know where Mr. Shelffo stood, and he would know the position of the city. Mr. Shellffo stated that to make a go of the operation financially, he would need permission for some permanent residency. LaValle felt it was the general ooncensue of the Council to wait until we get more information from Mr. Schneider of the Health Department. Mr. Shelffo was also in— structed to apply for a Driveway Permit that was installed prior to his purchasing of the camp. SQUAD CAR — BID OPENINGS (8:02 PM) The following bids were opened: McMillan Dodge 35527.32 (400 cubic inch engine) —900.00 trade in 4627.32 Northdale Ford 35889.06 (400 cubic inch engine) 6004.02 (460 cubic inch engine) 500.00 trade in credit MOTION: LaValle made motion, seconded by Spitzer, that the bids be referred to the Police Chief to come up with a recommendation to the City Council. VOTING FOR: LaValle, Spitzer, Schletty, Irsfeld, and Vail MOTION CARRIED (Closed 8:10 PM) 6.0 REPORTS OF OFFICERS & COMMIWEES 6.1 Ordinance Committee — No report. 6.2 Planning Commission MOTION: Spitzer made motion seconded by Irsfeld, that the City Council authorize the hiring of a Planning Consultant from Washington County Planning Commission, to be here for two days a month, three hours per day, time to be mutually agreed upon by planner and clerk's office, at $10.00/hour for the balance of the year 1977. VOTING FOR: LaValle, Spitzer, Schletty, Irsfeld, and Vail MOTION CARRIED 6.3 Water Superintendent — No report. 6.4 Building Inspector Schletty suggested Mr. Crever review the 20 ft length of culverts now being used for driveways. He might want to increase that length. 6.5 Fire Chief — No report.
