MARCH 6, 1978 <br /> 7' 1 <br /> VOTING FOR: LaValle, Spitzer, Schletty, Irsfeld, and Vail <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> The clerk stated that she would be unable to sign the deed until Mr. <br /> McCullough had his piece of property subdivided. It was determined that Mr. <br /> McCullough will have to apply for a Minor Subdivision before the City Clerk <br /> can sign his deed. Mr. LeRoy McCullough was told to get some kind of total <br /> subdivision for the rest to help alleviate this kind of problem again. <br /> MOTION: Irsfeld made motion, seconded by Spitzer, to approve the Minor <br /> Subdivision of Robert McCullough (legal description attached) . <br /> VOTING FOR: LaValle, Spitzer, Schletty, Irsfeld, and Vail <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> 5.3 Grant Township Agreement <br /> Mr. Johnson presented the Council with a draft of the agreement for dis- <br /> cussion purposes. <br /> MOTION: Spitzer made motion, seconded by Irsfeld, to submit the pro- <br /> posed maintenance agreement to Grant Township for their <br /> review and comment. <br /> VOTING FOR: LaValle, Spitzer, Schletty, Irsfeld, and Vail. <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> 6.0 REPORTS OF OFFICERS & COMMITTEES <br /> 6.1 Ordinance Committee - No report. <br /> 6.2 Planning Commission - No report. <br /> 6.3 Water Superintendent - No: report. <br /> 6.4 Building Inspector <br /> Mr. Crever did not have a report to submit because of no construction in <br /> Hugo. He has had inquiries about possible changes at the Peloquin Industrial <br /> Park. The people will have to complete the necessary forms and appear before <br /> the Planning Commission. <br /> 6.5 Fire Chief - No report. <br /> 6.7 Attorney, <br /> Mr. Johnson presented his monthly report. He has spoken to NSP'S attorney <br /> regarding the property of Joseph Stanek. He has asked Mr. Johnson to put <br /> in writing what the city is concerned about. <br /> 6.6 Police Chief <br /> Chief Barth presented reports for the past two months. He also included <br /> a recommendation to the City Council requesting authority to allow Reserve <br /> Officer Bill Roen to carry a firearm. Mr. Barth feels the Roen is now <br /> qualified. <br /> MOTION: Spitzer made motion, seconded by Schletty, to allow Reserve <br /> Officer Bill Roen to carry a gun during his Reserve Officer <br /> duties. <br />
