APRIL 3, 1978 107 <br /> RECESSED 9:21 PM RECONVENED 9:30 PM <br /> 6.0 REPORTS OF OFFICERS & COMMITTEES <br /> 6.1 Ordinance Committee - No discussion <br /> 6.2 Planning Commission - No discussion <br /> 6.3 Water Superintendent <br /> MOTION: LaValle made motion, seconded by Spitzer, to authorize the <br /> Water Superintendent to attend the Water Operator's Con- <br /> ference, April 18, 19, and 20, for a fee of $30.00. <br /> VOTING FOR: LaValle, Spitzer, Schletty, Irsfeld, and Vail. <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> MOTION: Spitzer made motion, seconded by Irsfeld, that the Water <br /> Superintendent be given permission to upgrade the water <br /> meters within the limit of his budget. <br /> VOTING FOR: LaValle, Spitzer, Schletty, Irsfeld, and Vail. <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> MOTION: Spitzer made motion, seconded by Irsfeld, to authorize <br /> Mr. Jenni to rid park of gophers. <br /> VOTING FOR: LaValle, Spitzer, Schletty, Irsfeld, and Vail. <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> 6.4 Building Inspector <br /> Mr. Crever submitted his monthly report. He is requested to attend the next <br /> City Council meeting of April 17, 1978. <br /> 6.5 Fire Chief - No discussion <br /> 6.6 Police Chief - No discussion <br /> 6.8 Engineer <br /> Mr. Kuusisto presented his monthly report. Kuusisto has met with Washington <br /> County regarding the Bridge Replacement Program to discuss the changes. He <br /> is ready to resubmit to the county. <br /> MOTION: Spitzer made motion, seconded by Irsfeld, that the City <br /> select Option 1 , as listed in engineer's report for April - <br /> County could receive bids on both sections, select contractor, <br /> and city could supervise construction. <br /> VOTING FOR: LaValle, Spitzer, Schletty, Irsfeld, and Vail. <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> MOTION: LaValle made motion, seconded by Schletty, that the attorney <br /> draw up the papers to get the necessary easements regarding <br /> the Bridge Replacement Program. <br /> VOTING FOR: LaValle, Sptizer, Sclletty, Irsfeld, and Vail. <br />
