DECEMBER 4, 1978 <br />VOTING FOR: LaValle, Irsfeld and Vail <br />MOTION CARRIED <br />.The city has received a complaint form Howard Schletty regarding the drive- <br />way at 7957 147th Street. The ditch has been filled in, and a blacktopped <br />driveway has been installed. There was no culvert installed, but the <br />Building Inspector stated that the permit issued required the installation <br />of one. LaValle stated that Mr. Crever has the authority to have the culvert <br />installed, because of violation of the driveway permit. <br />MOTION: LaValle made motion, seconded by Irsfeld, stating the driveway <br />complaint at 7957 147th Street has been discussed, and the Buil <br />ing Inspector is to proceed to make the property owner conform <br />to the way the permit was issued. <br />VOTING FOR: LaValle, Irsfeld and Vail <br />MOTION CARRIED <br />MOTION: Irsfeld made motion, seconded by Vail, to accept the resigna- <br />tion of George Bernier effective December 31, 1978. <br />VOTING FOR: LaValle, Irsfeld and Vail <br />MOTION CARRIED <br />The Building Inspector was instructed to make sure the liquor businesses in <br />Hugo conform to all fire code requirements. <br />MOTION: Irsfeld made motion, seconded by Vail, to accept the bid of <br />James Olson to purchase the protable pump from the Fire De- <br />partment, in the amount of x$50.00. <br />VOTING FOR: LaValle, Irsfeld and Vail <br />MOTION CARRIED <br />MOTION: LaValle made motion, seconded by Irsfeld, that the Fire Chief <br />be authorized to contac-6;Capitol Electronics to negotiate a <br />contract for the maintenance on the radio, and to submit to the <br />City of Hugo after approval by the Fire Department. <br />VOTING FOR: LaValle, Irsfeld and Vail <br />MOTION CARRIED <br />MOTION: <br />Irsfeld made motion, seconded by Vail, that the Fire Chief be <br />authorized to purchase two (2) strobe lights, 200' of 1z" hose, <br />push brooms, and the cost of fee and tests for EMT, in an <br />amount not to exceed q$800.00. <br />VOTING FOR: LaValle, Irsfeld and Vail <br />MOTION CARRIED <br />Mr. Vail, Fire Chief, stated that the Fire Department could be eligible to <br />receive matching finds from the Minnesota DNR, for fire equipment. <br />MOTION: LaValle made motion, seconded by Irsfeld, instructing the Fire <br />Chief to fill out the necessary forms for the Minnesota DNR to <br />receive matching funds, and submit to the completed forms to <br />the city. <br />VOTING FOR: LaValle, Irsfeld and Vail <br />MOTION CARRIED <br />7.0 ORDINANCES AND RESOLUTIONS <br />
