4 JUNE 4, 1979 6.3 Water Superintendent - No report 6.4 Building Inspector Mr. Crever submitted his monthly report. Mr. Crever stated that it appears that someone is occupying the last house belonging to Grace Development. Mr. Crever was instructed to inspect the house at his earliest convenience and find out if a sewer permit has been pulled. If someone is occupying the house and no permit has been pulled, they are to be notified that the house is not to be occupied. Mr. Crever submitted a letter from Rice Creek Watershed regarding in- dividual sewage treatment systems guidelines. Attorney suggested that the matter be referred to the Ordinance Committee, and some provision, and some provision be made for permit fees. 6.5 Fire Chief - No report 6.6 Police Chief - No report 6.8 Engineer Howard Kuusisto submitted his monthly report. 6.7 Attorney Attorney Johnson discussed the Brevig dike matter. Easements had been submitted to the property owners for the relocation of the dike, and he has received one back. The relocation agreement expired on June 1 , 1979. He stated that the city should not proceed with any work un- til a new agreement between Brevig and the City is signed. Howard Schletty was instructed to remove the barricade from the Brevig pro- perty on June 5, 1979. Councilman Schletty inquired as to what part of the Bayless road should be maintained by the City. Johnson thought that the city owned up to the old cul-de-sac. Howard Kuusisto will review this matter. 6.5 Fire Chief Ron Istvanovich was present and stated that the spot lights and night lights were not in working order. He requested that an electrician be hired to rectify these problems, and also have the relay on the siren inspected. MOTION: Spitzer made motion, seconded by Irsfeld, authorizing the City Clerk to have the lights in the firehall re- paired and the automatic door circuit split. Relay on siren to be inspected. VOTING FOR: Spitzer, Schletty, Irsfeld and Vail MOTION CARRIED
