4 JUNE 4, 1979 <br /> 6.3 Water Superintendent - No report <br /> 6.4 Building Inspector <br /> Mr. Crever submitted his monthly report. Mr. Crever stated that it <br /> appears that someone is occupying the last house belonging to Grace <br /> Development. Mr. Crever was instructed to inspect the house at his <br /> earliest convenience and find out if a sewer permit has been pulled. <br /> If someone is occupying the house and no permit has been pulled, they <br /> are to be notified that the house is not to be occupied. <br /> Mr. Crever submitted a letter from Rice Creek Watershed regarding in- <br /> dividual sewage treatment systems guidelines. Attorney suggested that <br /> the matter be referred to the Ordinance Committee, and some provision, <br /> and some provision be made for permit fees. <br /> 6.5 Fire Chief - No report <br /> 6.6 Police Chief - No report <br /> 6.8 Engineer <br /> Howard Kuusisto submitted his monthly report. <br /> 6.7 Attorney <br /> Attorney Johnson discussed the Brevig dike matter. Easements had been <br /> submitted to the property owners for the relocation of the dike, and <br /> he has received one back. The relocation agreement expired on June 1 , <br /> 1979. He stated that the city should not proceed with any work un- <br /> til a new agreement between Brevig and the City is signed. Howard <br /> Schletty was instructed to remove the barricade from the Brevig pro- <br /> perty on June 5, 1979. <br /> Councilman Schletty inquired as to what part of the Bayless road should <br /> be maintained by the City. Johnson thought that the city owned up to <br /> the old cul-de-sac. Howard Kuusisto will review this matter. <br /> 6.5 Fire Chief <br /> Ron Istvanovich was present and stated that the spot lights and night <br /> lights were not in working order. He requested that an electrician <br /> be hired to rectify these problems, and also have the relay on the <br /> siren inspected. <br /> MOTION: Spitzer made motion, seconded by Irsfeld, authorizing <br /> the City Clerk to have the lights in the firehall re- <br /> paired and the automatic door circuit split. Relay on <br /> siren to be inspected. <br /> VOTING FOR: Spitzer, Schletty, Irsfeld and Vail <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br />
