AUGUST 6, 1979 105 <br /> Bill Clark (SUP) - cont. <br /> VOTING FOR: LaValle, Spitzer, Schletty and Vail <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> 5.9 Mid American Metal Craft - Special Use Permit <br /> LaValle stated that Mid American needs a Special Use Permit to operate <br /> the welding phase of their operation. Plans were submitted for a 40 x <br /> 40 addition to the existing building to be used for welding. The <br /> parking lot will be gravel with room for 16 cars. <br /> MOTION: LaValle made motion, seconded by Spitzer, to approve the <br /> Special Use Permit for Mid American Metal Craft, 15657 <br /> Forest Blvd., to establish a precision sheet metal shop <br /> with 10 employees. The welding will be for own fabricating <br /> business and no custom welding to be done. <br /> VOTING FOR: LaValle, Spitzer, Schletty and Vail <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> MOTION: LaValle made motion, seconded by Spitzer, to approve the <br /> Site Plan for Mid-American-Metal-Craft to construct a <br /> 40 x 40 addition to the existing building at 15657 Forest <br /> Blvd., and the necessary variance for the parking lot <br /> requirement from blacktop to gravel. <br /> VOTING FOR: LaValle, Spitzer, Schletty and Vail <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> 5.10 March of Dimes Road Rally <br /> Mr. Adamski, representative from the March of Dimes, stated that they <br /> will again be holding a 4-wheel drive rally on April 12 or 13, 1980. <br /> He wanted to know how he could obtain community help, and the Lions <br /> Club, American Legion, and Fire Department were memtioned. Mr. Adamski <br /> stated the future rally would provide adequate off-street parking. <br /> 6.0 REPORTS OF OFFICERS & COMMITTEES <br /> 6.1 Ordinance Committee <br /> Mrs. Peltier stated that the Ordinance Committee was short members. <br /> 6.2 Planning Commission <br /> McAllister stated that Commission still has an application for a Special <br /> Use Permit from Curt Leibel for the boat rental operation. The request <br /> for a rezoning had been previously denied. <br />
