AUGUST 6, 1979 <br /> Planning Commission - cont. <br /> MOTION: LaValle made motion, seconded by Spitzer, that the applica- <br /> tion for a Special Use Permit form Curt Leibel and Ralph <br /> Chesebrough be returned, and the fee of $35.00 be refunded. <br /> VOTING FOR: LaValle, Spitzer, Schletty and Vail <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> 6.3 Water Superintendent - No report <br /> 6.4 Building Inspector <br /> Mr. Crever submitted his monthly report. Crever stated that nothing <br /> has been done to correct the nuisance at the Stewart Bogart property. <br /> Attorney Johnson will further check on this matter. <br /> 6.5 Fire Chief - No report <br /> 6.6 Police Chief - No report <br /> 6.7 Attorney <br /> Mr. Johnson did not have a monthly report to submit. Johnson has been <br /> working on the easements for the Bridge Replacement Program. He also <br /> suggested that the City Clerk obtain a written statement from the city's <br /> insurance company stating that they have been notified of a claim. <br /> Attorney Johnson is to set up a meeting with Lino Lakes regarding the <br /> Open Space matter. <br /> 6.8 Engineer <br /> Howard Kuusisto submitted his monthly report. Kuusisto discussed the <br /> street lighting at Shepherd of the Fields Church. The City Clerk was <br /> directed to send a letter to Richard Sykes, NSP, stating the locations <br /> of the lights and 100 watt sodium vapor lights at those locations. <br /> The Council discussed the blacktopping of Everton Avenue from 120th to <br /> 126th Street. Schletty had obtained a bid from Washington County High- <br /> way Department in the amount of $7,264.00 plus 10% to perform the work. <br /> Kuusisto stated that the minimum of blacktop to be used was 1 " . <br /> LaValle was to meet with Washington County and Schletty at the site to <br /> determine exactly the amount of resurfacing to be done and at what cost. <br /> MOTION: Vail made motion, seconded by Spitzer, to authorize the <br /> Washington County Highway Department to blacktop Everton <br /> and than Avenue for a cost not to exceed $10,000.00. <br /> VOTING FOR: LaValle, Spitzer, Schletty and Vail <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> 6.9 Clerk <br /> MOTION: Spitzer made motion, seconded by LaValle, to adopt <br /> RESOLUTION 1979-50, A RESOLUTION SETTING THE S IARY OF <br /> PART-TII%E PATROLFENONT TEE HUGO POLICE FORCE AT 5.00 PER HR. <br />
