128 SEPTEMBER 17, 1979 <br /> Letter of Credit - Grace Development (parking lot) continued <br /> MOTION: LaValle made motion, seconded by Schletty, to extend the letter of <br /> credit, in the amount of $2,000.00, to insure construction of a <br /> parking lot in the Bald Eagle Industrial Park, until November 6, <br /> 1979. <br /> VOTING FOR: LaValle, Spitzer, Schletty, Irsfeld and Vail <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> This letter of credit to be submitted prior to September 28, 1979, or the City will call <br /> on the letter of credit. <br /> 5.7 Hire Diseased Tree Inspector <br /> MOTION: Spitzer made motion, seconded by Schletty, that Mr. Charles Beach <br /> be hired as the City's Tree Inspector on a per occasion basis, at the <br /> rate of $10.00/hour and 200/mile. Mr. Beach is to be utilized at <br /> the request of the City Council only. <br /> VOTING FOR: LaValle, Spitzer, Schletty, Irsfeld and Vail <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> 5.8 Ray Olson - Removal of Mobile Home <br /> Mr. Olson was instructed to have his mobile home removed from his property by September <br /> 18, 1979.. Mr. Robert Barth, neighbor of Olson, stated that the home had been removed. <br /> MISCELLANEOUS - Ernest Hengel <br /> Mr. Hengel owns 20 acres along 147th Street and would like to divide the property. <br /> Because of the location of a garage, a straight dividing line cannot be obtained. <br /> It was suggested that Mr. Hengel divide the property to meet the 10 acre zoning <br /> requirement (with a jog behind the garage) , and obtain a variance to 300' road frontage <br /> requirement. <br /> 6.0 ORDINANCES AND RESOLUTIONS <br /> A draft of the Gambling Ordinance was submitted to Attorney Johnson for his review. <br /> The following statement is to be added to Section 2: All terms used herein are as <br /> defined in Minnesota State Statutes 349 and 507. <br /> 7.0 UNFINISHED BUSINESS <br /> 7.1 County Owned Land <br /> Tabled until next meeting. <br /> 7.2 Report on Brevig Dike Matter <br /> Attorney Johnson has been in touch with Brevig's attorney. Mr. Geck stated that he did <br /> net f feel that the October 1 , 1980 offer to complete the removal of the dike <br /> would be acceptable to his client. Mr. Geck will offer an alternative or start <br /> legal action. If a deadline can not be agreed upon, a possible point of negotiation <br /> would be to obtain an easement and leave the dike where it is. <br />
