152 NOVEMBER 5, 1979 <br /> Stankey - Continued <br /> The Building Inspector is to be contacted indicating the recommendation 6f the <br /> Engineer that the fill on Stankey's property is to be artificially compacted. <br /> 5.2 Off Sale Liquor Licenses <br /> MOTION: Spitzer made motion, seconded by Irsfeld, to grant an OFF SALE <br /> LIQUOR LICENSE TO STANLEY LYNN, STAN'S WITHROW JUCNTION, 12020 <br /> Keystone Avenue North, in the amount of $100.00. <br /> VOTING FOR: LaValle, Spitzer, Schletty, Irsfeld and Vail <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> 5.3 William Clark - Variance <br /> Mr. Clark had made application for a variance to construct his garage closer to <br /> Homestead Drive than the main residence. The Planning Commission recommended that <br /> Mr. Clark's fee be refunded because the variance was granted when the Special Use <br /> Permit was approved. The Site Plan for the variance was the same as the plan <br /> for the Special Use Permit. Attorney Johnson concurred with the Planning Commission's <br /> interpretation. <br /> MOTION: Irsfeld made motion, seconded by Schletty, to refund William Clark's <br /> application fee of $15.00 for a variance because variance was approved <br /> at the time the Special Use Permit was granted. <br /> VOTING FOR: LaValle, Spitzer, Schletty, Irsfeld and Vail <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> Mr. Clark stated that he would like to change the drainage on his property from <br /> the north to the south. Spitzer stated that an Amended Special Use Permit would <br /> be needed. <br /> 5.4 Jerome Pierre - Garbage and Rubbish License <br /> MOTION: Spitzer made motion, seconded by Irsfeld, to grant a license for the <br /> collection of garbage and rubbish to Do All Sanitation, 12863 Keller <br /> Avenue North, for a fee of $50.00, under Chapter 120, of the Hugo <br /> City Code. <br /> VOTING FOR: LaValle, Spitzer, Schletty, Irsfeld and Vail <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> 5.5 Shubat and Prazich - Rezoning <br /> Mr. Shubat and Mr. Prazich made application to rezone property at 16155 Forest <br /> Boulevard from Agriculture to Industrial. The Planning Commission recommended denial <br /> of the application for the following reasons: 1) Hugo does not need an additional <br /> Industrial zone, 2) Do not feel the city should have an Industrial zone located on <br /> both sides of a main arterial, and 3) land is located adjacent to SFE area and, <br /> therefore, does not comply with the Comprehensive Plan. <br />
