May 18, 1981 MOTION: McAllister made motion, seconded by Schletty, that the City Clerk's office schedule on the agenda for a regular Council meeting, at least 90 days ahead of time, of expiration: of any insurance coverage. VOTING FOR: McAllister, Schletty, Irsfeld, Vail MOTION CARRIED Councilman Irsfeld instructed theclerk to obtain a comprehensive list of the city's insurance coverage from our agent. 5.7 Don Olson (Pete Nadeau) - Construct house on 40 x 129 lot Mr. Olson, prospective purchaser, would like to construct a house on the corner lot of Highway 61 and 150th Street (southeast corner) . The lot is 40 x 129 feet and could never meet the setback requirements. There are other houses in Hugo only 10 feet from the road, but they are not corner lots. If a house was constructed on the lot, it would probably block the view in the intersection, and set much closer to the lot linethan the existing house in the area. . Schletty suggested the property contact the city regarding the assessments that have been paid on the property to date. It was Councilman Irsfeld's opinion that the. only solution to the problem would be to sell the land to an adjoining property owner. 8.0 NEW BUSINESS Mr. Lindau, 5880 Egg Lake Road, had previously applied for subdivision of his 12 acres, and then withdrew his application, He submitted a new planto the clerk's office, whereby the land would be divided into two parcels, one consisting of5 acres (with the house) and the other of 7 acres (construction of new house) . Mr. Lindau stated that he could not go ahead with the plan until he found out if the city would allow him to connect to the manhole .on County Road 8A. Engineer Kuusisto was not present at meeting to state whether the manhole could accommodate another connection. There isalready a temporary connection to this manhole from a resi- dence across the street from the Lindau property. Matter of possible assessments to be discussed. MOTION: Irsfeld made motion, seconded by McAllister, that the Lindau matter be placed on the agenda for the Council meeting of June '1 , 1981 . Messrs.. Kuusisto and Lindau are to be notified by letter of what is taking place and Kuusisto to report at this meeting. VOTING FOR: McAllister, Schletty, Irsfeld, Vail MOTION CARRIED McAllister stated that the city dump trucks are in need of repair. He is not sure the exact costs to have them repaired, but stated that he will use his discretion and have only one repaired at a time. MOTION: McAllister made motion, seconded by Vail, that the Chevrolet and Ford dump trucks be repaired in an amount not to exceed $1 ,500.00. VOTING FOR: McAllister, Irsfeld, Vail VOTING AGAINST: Schletty MOTION CARRIED MOTION: McAllister made motion, seconded by Vail, that the minutes of the Special Meeting of May 11 , 1981 , be tabled until the meeting of June 1 , 1981 . VOTING FOR: McAllister, Schletty, Vail ABSTAINED: Irsfeld MOTION CARRIED
