July 20, 1981 <br /> 5.9 Dean Nelson - Re:zoning <br /> Mr. Nelson owns 80 acres and would like to rezone 20 acres from CONS to AG. <br /> If approved, he would divide land into three parcels (two 10's and one 60). <br /> Nelson attorney, James Flannery, stated that after discussion with the surveyor, <br /> it was determined that parcel A consisted of 9.998 acres and Parcel B, 10.006 acres. <br /> Flannery stated that the land to the north and west was divided into much smaller <br /> lots. <br /> MOTION: McAllister made motion, seconded by Vail, to adopt ORDINANCE 178, AN <br /> ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 320 OF THE HUGO CITY CODE ENTITLED "ZONING" <br /> BY AMENDING THE ZONING DISTRICT CLASSIREATION OF DESCRIBED REAL PROPERTY. <br /> VOTING FOR: LaValle, McAllister, Schletty, Vail <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> MOTION: LaValle made motion, seconded by Schletty, to approve the Land Division <br /> for Dean Nelson, to divide the Si of the SW; of Section 10, into three (3) <br /> parcels (A, B, and C) as indicated on the Certificate of Survey dated • <br /> March 18, 1981 . <br /> VOTING FOR: LaValle, McAllister, Schletty, Vail <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> 5.10 Joe Glamos - Site Plan Approval <br /> Mr. Glamos is proposing the construction of a 15,000 sqaft addition to his present <br /> building in the Peloquin Industrial Park. Rice Creek Watershed has authorized <br /> the City Engineer to give administrative approval. The addition will be used as <br /> a warehouse, with no additional employees, and Mr. Glamos felt that the existing <br /> facilities for water and sewer were adequate. LaValle informed Mr. Glamos that <br /> the Site Plan would have to be altered to meet the setback requirement for a corner <br /> lot (40' to 10' ). Glames stated that he would construct the addition to meet the <br /> city's requirements. <br /> MOTION: McAllister made motion, seconded by Schletty, to the approve the Site Plan <br /> for Glamos Wire Products, as corrected. <br /> VOTING FOR: LaValle, McAllister, Schletty, Vail <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> 5.11 Vern Peloquin - Minor Subdivision <br /> Mr. Peloquin is proposing the sale of land in the industmal for sale to Hubbard <br /> Broadcasting for the installation of an earth satellite station and construction <br /> of a 14 x 30 equipment building. Mr. John McDonough, attorney for KSTP, explained <br /> the installation and what was planned for the site. At this time, the Peloquin <br /> Industrial Subdivision is only propos d therefore, a Minor Subdivision would be <br /> required. LaValle stated that it was/opinion KSTP negotiated for the purchase of <br /> the property in good faith, and they are now in a real time bind. There proposed <br /> installations should make no contribution to the drainage problem. Atthe time <br /> the final plat is approved, KSTP will have to be included. A survey is to be <br /> submitted with the legal description of the property and showing access to the <br /> property from 152nd Street. <br /> MOTION: McAllister made motion, seconded by Vail, to approve the Minor Subdivision <br /> for Vern Peloquin subject to a Special Use Permit being negotiated with <br /> Hubbard Broadcasting.
