March 15, 1982 25 <br /> 5.2 David Schuman - Discussion on Land Division <br /> Mr. Barry Stack, surveyor representing Schuman land divison, said an existing well, <br /> to be used by two property owners, would have setback problems, and asked whether <br /> a property line change should be made or a variance applied for at this time. <br /> Council advised that the property line change would be permanent. Council also <br /> requested percolation test be taken on all lots currently not built on. An easement <br /> vacation will be iniated along with the land division. The applicant will be <br /> placed on the April 5th meeting, at which time the Council can call the public <br /> hearing for the meeting on April 19, 1982. <br /> 5.6 Lester Schmidt - Minor Subdivision <br /> MOTION: McAllister made motion, Schletty seconded, that the following problems be <br /> resolved: <br /> 1 . City requests the consent from the First State Bank of Hugo to cosign <br /> on the Minor Subdivision application. <br /> 2. Request from Mr. Myer what interest the Palsa's have as they have <br /> signed on the application, but no mention is made of them on the <br /> title opinion, as submitted to the City Attorney. <br /> 3. City Attorney and Engineer are to assess their final cost, and submit <br /> to the Clerk. <br /> 4. Final confirmation be made by City Attorney before any deeds are stamped. <br /> VOTING FOR: McAllister, Schletty, Irsfeld, Vail <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> MOTION: McAllister made motion, Schletty seconded, that the Minor Subdivision appli- <br /> cation be extended, and placed on the agenda for Council meeting of 4/5/82. <br /> VOTING FOR: McAllister, Schletty, Irsfeld, Vail <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> 5.7 Capitol City Contract <br /> MOTION: Irsfeld made mot ion, McAllister seconded, directing the City Attorney to <br /> write Mr. Rukavina stating the City's concerns regarding the contract, and <br /> to have a response to the City by April 19, 1982, as to what action is <br /> be taken in resolving the matter. <br /> VOTING FOR: McAllister, Schletty, Irsfeld, Vail <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> Councilman McAllister presented a letter from Mr. Wilekius, District Traffic Engineer, <br /> DOT, regarding the estimated crosswalk flasher on Highway 61 and 146th Street. Cost <br /> estimated at approximately $1 ,200.00. <br /> FIRE CHIEF <br /> Re - fresh air tank. The City can sell the four existing tanks and purchase four new <br /> tanks that are larger and hold more air pressure for a cost of $35.00 each. Universal <br /> would leave two extra tanks in the City Hall at no extra cost until the FD uses the <br />
