Hugo City Council Meeting Minutes for November 2,2015 <br /> Page 5 of 7 <br /> Haas made motion,Petryk seconded, to direct staff to prepare a resolution for the payment for <br /> the road improvement to the City of Lino Lakes as recommended by City staff. <br /> The Mayor pointed out the City would have paid much more to have this project done,and he <br /> did not want to leave out the remaining$3,400. Haas withdrew his motion and Petryk withdrew <br /> her second. <br /> Haas made motion,Petryk seconded,to direct staff to prepare a resolution for the payment of <br /> $14,974.10 to the City of Lino Lakes for the 129th Street improvements. <br /> All Ayes. Motion carried. <br /> Update on the Yellow Ribbon Network <br /> Council Member Chuck Haas and Council Member Phil Klein reported to Council on the Yellow <br /> Ribbon Network activities held recently. The Hugo Area Business Association sponsored the last <br /> Burger Night and raised over$1,100 for the YRN. The YRN helped a Gold Star mother with <br /> rent money and a military wife put a plow on a truck. There are six volunteer secret Santa's <br /> looking for families. The packing event is postponed;the unit is still stateside. A boy scout <br /> troop is writing cards to include with care packages,and tins have been decorated by school <br /> kids. The next Hamburger night is November 25,2015 and will be sponsored by Hanzal <br /> Construction. <br /> Wilson Tool Anniversary Date <br /> Haas added this to the agenda to bring attention to the upcoming 50th Anniversary of Wilson <br /> Tool International. Haas suggested the Council congratulate them and present them with a <br /> certificate of appreciation. Staff will find out the exact anniversary date. <br /> County Road 57 Improvements <br /> Haas added this to the agenda to asked staff to contact the Washington County to review the <br /> upcoming County road projects so expectations can be communicated. <br /> Washington County Special Event Permits for Bike Use <br /> Haas added this to the agenda to ask that staff check with Washington County on the revisions to <br /> the County's road use policy. Haas has had concerned with past biking events and the history of <br /> some of the organizations. <br /> School District Elections on Tuesday.November 3.2015 <br /> City Administrator Bryan Bear reminded Council that an election will be held for Forest Lake <br /> and White Bear Lake School Districts on Tuesday,November 3,2015.Forest Lake ISD 831 will <br /> vote at the Headwaters Service Center on a bond referendum. White Bear Lake ISD 624 voters <br /> will vote for candidates running for three spots on the School Board, and will vote at their <br />
